Polyclonal Antibody Development
Antix Biotech Inc. offers polyclonal antibody production for your research and production applications. We can provide the polyclonal antibody from sheep, goat, rabbit, chicken and mouse. It is normally take two months to get the antibody that you need. IgY antibody from chicken will be longer. You may provide your own immunization protocols, or you may choose to our standard immunization protocols,
or work with us to develop a special protocol to fit
your special requirements.
Monoclonal Antibody Development
Antix Biotech Inc. also
offers the development of hybridoma and monoclonal
antibody production. A period of three to 6 months will
normally be required for development of the monoclonal
antibody. The development of hybridoma is divided into
4 phases.
- Immunization of mice (Balb/c) with antigen to stimulate antibody production. ELISA will be used to determine the highest titer mice to be used for cell fusion.
- Spleen cells from
immunization mouse fuse with myeloma cell line. The fused cells are
cultured and viable colonies appear as early as 3-5 days after fusion.
- When hybridoma colonies are large enough, then culture with 96 well culture plate. ELISA will be used to screen all wells containing monoclonal antibody. All positive wells will be expanded and frozen.
- After positive hybridomas are selected, they will be cloned and screened by ELISA. Clones with the desired special antibody will be expanded and pilot production by harvested from mouse ascites.
